2-D 4-D
The piece of paper was totally excited. He was flat! He was white! He was in a heap of lots of other papers exactly like him! (Except he was near the bottom.) He was excited and breathless for a long time.
One day he noticed he was on the top of the heap. He hadn't done a single thing, and yet he was on the top. If he had a head, it wouldn't have swollen up really big at all.
Then he was picked up and run through a really hot machine and he got itchy black marks all over him and then he was crumpled up into wonderfully interesting folds and thrown into a bin that had a blue leaky pen, a moldy sandwich, three bent paper clips, bubble wrap with the bubbles all popped, and a used kleenex in it.
What a way to go, he thought!
